On June 17th 2021 Prof. Dr. Thomas Willner from Hamburg University of Applied Science sent an open letter to the European Commission together with Dr. Armin Günther from Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions Germany GmbH on the risk of failure to meet long-term climate protection goals in the transport sector due to insufficient legal regulations.

Many signees of this open letter are experts in the field of chemistry, chemical engineering and process engineering.

The signees emphasize, that GHG reductions must be reduced without a significant delay and hope to enter into a discussion with the EU Commission.
